Bell Ribeiro-Addy was born in Streatham and is of Ghanaian descent. She was Chief of Staff to Labour backbencher, Diane Abbott MP and elected to Labour MP for Streatham in 2019. She is a staunch advocate of reparations and is currently chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Afrikan Reparations (APPG).
