A child of a ‘Windrush Generation’ Migrant

Ruby Joseph was born in Grenada where she lived with her Grandmother.  She arrived in the UK in early 1962 aged 3 or 4 to live with her mother and the rest of the family.  

She travelled abroad on a school trip without issue.  It wasn’t until 1982 that she encountered a problem with her citizenship status.
